Bullshit Detector
The Hairy Dog - Derby - DE1 1HT
Bullshit Detector are bringing their bleak, razor-sharp brand of Texas punk across the Atlantic to The Hairy Dog.Pioneering a sound frequently dubbed "cold Oi!", the band seamlessly collides the raw, working-class grit of traditional street punk with the dark, moody atmospheres of post-punk and death rock. Driven by chorus-heavy guitars and driving basslines, their set blends the aggressive energy of UK82 with the haunting undertones of The Cure.Touring on the heels of their latest 2026 album Built for War—alongside fan-favourite anthems like "Violet Crown" and "Rat Tail"—Bullshit Detector deliver a live performance that is as bleak as it is blistering. Do not miss one of the most unique and uncompromising bands in modern punk making their mark on Derby.
